I have found a way to have my own personal technical support team available any time I need them. Now that I work from home, I no longer have the office tech support team around when I need them. They were great, they could solve a computer problem in no time, and they came right to my desk. Once I left the company and went to work for myself, I lost the computer repair service on demand that I had grown accustomed to.
I tried taking my computer to a local computer repair store but I could not wait two weeks to get it back. All I needed was a simple restore done so a friend suggested I try a remote computer repair service. Remote computer repair fixes software related problems using a remote desktop connection. I found that I could order service and have my problem fixed the same day, all while sitting at home.
The service is great. They cannot install a new hard drive or anything hardware related, but they can do almost any software related computer repair task. Now I can keep my computer running at peak efficiency with my own personal tech support team. They are a lot friendlier than the usual corporate office tech support team too.
