You may know someone who has recently purchased a refurbished DSLR camera made by Nikon. If so, you were told what a tremendous savings your friend got on the refurbished Nikon he or she bought. If you are interested in shopping for Nikon refurbished cameras yourself here are a few tips to help you locate a great camera to buy.
A good starting point is to ask your friend the name of the store he/she bought his refurbished camera from. Ask what type of experience he had and whether or not the camera worked as it should and came with the manual, cords and accessories. You may be led directly to a great company which sells all types of Nikon refurbished cameras and if so, that’s great as you probably will find the camera you want.
You can also find a nice refurbished Nikon online at sites like Ebay and Amazon. Do not buy any refurbished DSLR camera unless it comes with some sort of a warranty. Most reputable sellers provide a 45 or 90 day limited warranty which covers the basics. It’s best to purchase an ‘open box’ refurbished Nikon versus one which has been repaired. This is because open box Nikons are often unused which means that you will be receiving a virtually new camera at a tremendous savings.
