Best Linux Hosting – 3 Reasons I Prefer Linux

I switched to UNIX a couple of years ago for my web hosting needs, and have never looked backwards since then. I am so glad I did and rattling have no intention to switch backwards to Windows hosting. I am rattling pleased with it and have been addicted to it ever since. I still do use Windows hosting for clients sites from instance to time, but if I had it my way, in a amend world I would use UNIX every the time. No I am not a Microsoft or Windows hater, but I do prefer UNIX over Windows for a number of reasons. I will provide you with threesome reasons why I prefer UNIX over Windows for hosting my websites.

Open Source Code

Linux uses open maker code for its hosting, which Windows does not. Open maker code is enthusiastic because it is easier to administer patches, updates, ect too. UNIX supports Telnet which Windows apparently does not support. UNIX is often referred to as LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP.) With Windows it is not as pliant as UNIX and doesn’t substance as much hold and flexibility.

Cost

The cost for UNIX hosting is exactly free which its competitor Windows is not. True Windows is a super power when it comes to to software, but they are also commercial, which UNIX is open sourced and 100% free. It makes sense that UNIX hosting is cheaper since they are not commercial. It is commonly 1-2 dollars cheaper than Windows.

More Value

Another enthusiastic reason to switch to UNIX is it cheaper. So you strength be wondering if you actually get what you clear for. The answer is you get more for what you clear for, and for less than the cost of Windows. It is a no-brainer that UNIX is hands-down the best hosting available.
